Our Courses
The goal of Theater in Motion Improv is to create a space where students of all ages can freely express themselves, collaborate with others in meaningful ways, and celebrate their creativity. Our courses are designed to nurture the natural curiosity, imagination, and creative expression of our students, empowering them to develop lasting confidence and life skills.
Courses are offered in Burien and Seattle or if you are an organization that would like to offer on-site improv theater classes, I can come to your location . Scroll down for more details.

Burien - Preschool Classes at Stepping Stones Early Learning Center
Summer Drop-in Classes for Ages 3-5
Dates and Times: Tuesday, August 5 and Tuesday, August 12 from 12:30 pm to 1:15 pm
Location: Stepping Stones Early Learning Center, 15513 Ambaum Blvd SW, Suite 102, Burien, WA 98166
Price: $20 per class
If you are curious about our classes, but not ready to commit to a full course, this is the perfect option for you! Students will have a blast playing collaborative games, expressing themselves as different characters, telling stories, and then acting out their stories.
10-week course for Ages 3-5 - includes a final presentation!
Dates and Times: Tuesday, September 9 to Tuesday, November 11 from 12:30-1:15 pm or from 3:30 to 4:15

Price: $180 up front or three monthly payments of $65
Students participate in a weekly theater class that serves as a playful and engaging introduction to the world of theater. In this class, students will explore their creativity, gain self-confidence, and develop social-emotional skills through story-telling and imaginative play.
The course concludes with an exciting theater presentation for families!
Burien - Summer Camps at the Burien Community Center for Ages 7-12
Dates and Times: July 7-11 from 10 am to 12 pm or August 11-15 from 10 am to 12 pm
Price: $130-$142 per camp
Embark on an unforgettable journey where your imagination is the key to a world of magic, mystery, and heroism! Throughout our improv theater camp, students will develop confidence, creativity, and teamwork as they participate in engaging improv games and activities. They will also create their own adventure characters and bring them to life in an exciting original play. By the end of the week, campers will perform their play in a final showcase for friends and family.

Meet, Play, Create: Improv for Beginners
Dates and Times: Thursday, July 10 to Thursday, August 21 from 7:15 pm to 8:15 pm (there will be no class on Thursday, July 24.
Price: $120
Join our adult improv course for a chance to meet new people, enhance your communication skills, and connect with your creative side in a fun, light-hearted environment. Through engaging games and exercises, you'll learn to trust your instincts, embrace the unexpected, and think on your feet—all while having a lot of fun! Improv is a life skill that improves communication, confidence, and adaptability, whether in the workplace, the arts, public speaking, team sports, traveling, or wherever else you are.
The Writers’ Playground: Improv for Creative Writing
Dates and Times: Thursday, July 10 to Thursday, August 21 from 6:00 pm to 7:00 pm (there will be no class on Thursday, July 24).
Do you enjoy creative writing? Are you looking for a dedicated time and space to collaborate with other writers and workshop story and character ideas? Our improv course might be the perfect place for you! In this course you will have the opportunity to chase exciting ideas, explore new characters or plot twists, discover compelling dialogue, and craft stories with others. You are encouraged to bring your laptop or notebook so that you can capture your ideas during the classes. At the end of each class, there will be an optional focused writing time for those who are wanting to establish a weekly writing routine.

Preschool Theater Courses
I am happy to come to your preschool to provide onsite classes where students explore their creativity and develop social skills through imaginative play! This can be offered as an extracurricular class where I pay you a percentage of my profits, or it can be offered to all students as part of your weekly preschool curriculum. After-school Programs
If you are a school that would like to offer an after-school theater program for students, I would love to hear from you! I can come to schools and teach a weekly, hour-long theater course that focuses on the foundations of improvisational theater, acting, and creative writing. The course includes one showcase and one original production, and it gives students the chance to develop important life-skills in a supportive, creative community. Courses for Adults
I offer adult improv theater courses with a focus on developing professional skills in a welcoming, supportive environment. If you are a community center, college, or university that would like to provide improv theater courses for adults, I’d love to hear from you!
